E! News Interviews Attorney Ashleigh Merchant Regarding the Bobbi Kristina Brown Case

On January 31, Bobbi Kristina Brown – the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston – was found face down in the bathtub of her home in Roswell, Georgia. She has remained in a medically induced coma ever since while investigations have been undergone.

Attorney Ashleigh Merchant is representing Max Lomas, the young man who found Bobbi Kristina in her bathtub. Lomas is friends with Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon and was in the townhome with his girlfriend and Nick at the time.

Lomas told E! News that the arrival of an Xfinity cable technician was what prompted them to look for Bobbi Kristina in the townhouse. Lomas knocked on the bathroom door and, when he received no answer, opened it to find Bobbi Kristina face down in the tub.

Ashleigh Merchant stated the following:

"He's actually the one that found her, and he called for Nick, screamed for Nick, and then he immediately called 911… It seems like it might've been 10 or 15 minutes that she must have been alone... but we don't know at what point she actually ended up in the tub during that time."

According to E! News, rumors that Bobbi Kristina is brain-dead have been shot down by family members and other sources. One family member did share that the doctors can do nothing more to help her. She opens her eyes from time to time, but that is neither good nor bad.

Ashleigh Merchant made it clear that her client Max Lomas has been completely cooperative and is not considered a suspect at this time.
